Training Areas

  • English and foreign language training.
  • Depending on the country that we send normally take English classes or (language of the country if required) which is part of the curricula.
  • Security Services:
  • Buddha Vision Overseas has developed special training programs for candidates seeking overseas and for ex-military/police seeking employment in the civil sector. There are two training that the candidates     are made to undertake.

Basic Training

  1. Orientation of the country
  2. Duties and responsibilities of security officers i.e. safety, fire fighting, patrolling, access control, procedures, report writing code of conduct, discipline.
  3. Powers of Security Offices and the law.
  4. Use of specialized security equipment
  5. Physical and self defense training.

Advanced Training

Customer Relations

  1. Dealings with complaints/disputes
  2. Pro-active security/initiatives
  3. Special training depending upon where and in what industry the officers will be assigned to perform security function. This is to ensure that familiarity with the various needs of the different industries i.e. hospitality, property management, retail, warehouse, industries, factories and hospital etc.

    Continuation Training
  • Additional skills training depending on the clients needs
  • Language training
  • Cross cultural training
  • Supervisory training
  • Additional exposure to more comprehensive issues i.e. theft, fraud, shrinkage, loss prevention and investigative techniques.
  • This phase of training will be dependent upon and abilities of the individual. Additional training can be arranged upon a client request or in    parallel with their own operation.

Basic Security Sea Training

The main objective of this training is to familiarize about the ship and the administration given by the passenger ships.

  1. Introduction of the ship
  2. Briefing on arrival of the ship
  3. Duties at gangway
  4. Duties while the ship is at anchor OFF shore
  5. Patrolling on board
  6. Personal survival techniques
  7. Equipments and facilities
  8. Type of fires
  9. Fire fighting equipment
  10. Portable extinguisher's color codes
  11. Action to be taken on discovery of fire
  12. Evacuation

Training in Hospitality Services

Degree holders in hotel management services, who are currently employed in fie star hotels in Kathmandu provided these training. In this category all the candidates will also compulsorily take hospitality English calasses and computer classes. The training consists of the students spending half of their time attending theoretical classes and the other half taking in practical training. After the completion of the training, the students are sent out to train in different hotels for at least a period of one month. The training is conducted in the following areas.

  1. Waiter / Waitress
  2. Butler
  3. Room boy
  4. Bell boy
  5. Housekeeper
  6. Receptionist
  7. Cleaner
  8. Cook

The duration of the training varies from 14 days to 45 days.

All the candidates go through a briefing on the geography and culture, food habits of the country before they travel along with their detail job description.

The management team has been recruited either for their experience with the Gurkhas or as experts in the field of experience in security, technical and hospitality services. We have further strengthened our capabilities by employing experts who have specialization application to our scope operations.

Our office in Kathmandu have been recruiting and training rural youths and ex-Gurkhas and have developed an extensive database that covers all the skills and trades available.

A should be expected his Majesty's Government of Nepal has approved the company, headquarters brigades of British and Indian Gurkhas.
